Kevin Aylor, Ph.D., is a senior applied scientist and full-stack machine learning engineer with extensive experience in AI and machine learning. At Lockheed Martin (2020-2022), they led foundational projects in the Space Enterprise, specializing in AI/ML applications for edge and space-grade processors. Currently, they serve as an Applied Scientist at Amazon (2022-Present). Kevin earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Davis (2019) and has contributed to significant research in cosmology, including training models to analyze galactic images, during their time as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at UC Davis (2013-2019).
