Khadige Abboud

Khadige Abboud is a research scientist specializing in wireless networks with a focus on stochastic modeling, analysis, and simulation for connected vehicles. They earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they developed a stochastic microscopic vehicle mobility model during their doctoral research. Khadige has held various positions, including postdoctoral fellow, Principal Research Engineer at OSRAM SYLVANIA, and roles at Amazon, where they focused on natural language understanding for smart virtual assistants. As an Insight data science fellow, they developed a natural language processing pipeline to gauge public sentiment towards self-driving cars.
