Kyle Thorson

Kyle Thorson has over seven years of experience in HR strategy and data insights, currently leading the business operations and HR strategy team for the PXT Capability and Impact team within Global Operations HR at Amazon. In this role, Kyle builds the rhythm of business, manages organizational headcount and budget, and partners strategically with leadership to enhance operational metrics and business reviews. Additionally, Kyle owns Archives Coffee House, a social business that supports local non-profits and aims to positively impact the UND campus and Greater Grand Forks community. Previously, Kyle held several roles at Amazon, including Sr. Manager of People Analytics and HR Strategy, and has a background in PR and marketing from UND Financial Wellness. Kyle earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Dakota.
