Lauren Maccarone is a trade, customs, and transportation lawyer with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and operations leadership. They held various roles at Amazon from 2019 to 2021, including Head of Trade & Product Compliance for the EU and UK, where they managed import and export compliance teams and developed risk management solutions. Prior to that, Lauren gained valuable legal experience as a Legal Intern at Human Rights First and Human Rights Watch, and worked at KPMG US in trade and customs. They are currently pursuing a JD in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law at Brooklyn Law School and a BA in International Affairs at The George Washington University.
