Lei Yang

Lei Yang is a seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon since May 2025, where responsibilities include leading the development of the Leader Safety Score program to improve safety metrics for Operations leaders. Prior to Amazon, Lei served as Data Analytics Lead at AECOM from June 2022 to May 2025, notably spearheading the US's first statewide connected and autonomous transportation plan and developing the TxDOT Crash Safety Analysis Tool. Additional experience includes roles as a Transportation Planner and Data Analyst at Jacobs and a GIS Technician at Texas A&M University. Lei holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Washington.
