Leo Chou

Leo Chou is a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon Devices, where they build Big Data and Machine Learning data pipelines with MLOps practices. With a solid background in Natural Language Processing and deep learning, Leo developed solutions for malware classification and anomaly detection at Trend Micro, where they also researched explainable AI. Prior roles include working at Microsoft as a Research and Development Assistant and co-founding HIT for Asia, where they organized hackathons for students and industry professionals. Leo holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health with a focus on Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the same institution.
