Leren Q. has a diverse background in project controls, data science, and machine learning, with significant experience at various organizations. Leren served as a Project Controls Specialist at Fluor Corporation from July 2012 to August 2017, focusing on business and data analytics, scheduling, estimating, and controlling. At Northeastern University College of Engineering from January 2019 to April 2023, Leren worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant and interned at ExxonMobil in summer 2022, developing a causal inference framework for complex heat exchanger networks. Leren also held roles as a Data Scientist, designing large-scale knowledge management solutions and serving as an Algorithm Engineer at WaterMirror, where operations research and machine learning algorithms were developed. Additionally, experience was gained at Staples in Operations Research Data Science, conducting statistical analysis for supply chain management. Currently, Leren works as an Applied Scientist at Amazon, focusing on shopping agent personalization. Leren holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a PhD in Operations Research from Northeastern University.
