Liam Smith

Liam Smith is a Senior Flight Dynamics Engineer for Project Kuiper at Amazon, where they focus on launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites for global broadband connectivity. Currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, their research targets space sustainability through various topics, including space situational awareness and traffic management. Liam previously gained valuable experience as a researcher at Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technology Center, where they specialized in orbital dynamics and optimization. They began their aerospace career at California Polytechnic State University, obtaining both a Bachelor's and Master's degree while actively contributing to cubesat projects.
