Lorena Canizares has extensive experience in the technology and payments sectors, with a career spanning over a decade. Lorena began as a Software Development Engineer at Diners Club del Ecuador, progressing to roles including Senior Technical Program Manager and Software Development Manager from January 2007 to February 2012. In January 2015, Lorena joined Merchant Link as a System Analyst IV, focusing on US-CA payments until December 2019. Subsequently, Lorena moved to Amazon, serving as Sr. Program Manager for Latam expansion from October 2021 to November 2022, and currently holds the position of Head of LatAm Payments-Strategic Partners since January 2020.
