Luca D'Angelo

Luca D’Angelo, PhD, is currently a Senior Manager of Decision Science and Technology at Amazon, where they lead a team responsible for optimizing maintenance and reliability engineering programs across a global network. Previously, they served as a Doctoral Assistant at EPFL, developing probabilistic approaches for fatigue strength and reliability assessments, and as a Stress Engineer at SkyAircraft, focusing on fuselage structure design. Luca has contributed to multiple projects at CERN and has held roles in predictive analytics and engineering analytics within Amazon. They also gained research experience at the Technical University of Denmark and completed an Erasmus exchange in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Glasgow.
