Luke Alexander Johnson

Luke Alexander Johnson is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in indirect tax management and compliance. Beginning his career at Arup as a Gap Year Student, Luke has held significant roles at Deloitte, where responsibilities included designing compliance processes for cross-border VAT and serving as Global Chief of Staff for the Head of Indirect Tax. Luke later advanced to THG as Group Indirect Tax Director, overseeing a global team and managing all VAT/GST and customs obligations. Currently, Luke serves in multiple senior managerial roles at Amazon, focusing on VAT planning, special projects, and controllership. Luke holds a First Class Honours BA in Financial Economics from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London.
