Luqi Yao is an applied scientist at Amazon, specializing in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing since 2022. They previously served as a machine learning engineer at Apple from 2019 to 2022 and as a machine learning scientist at Ford Motor Company from 2016 to 2019. In 2015, Luqi was a data science teaching assistant at NYC Data Science Academy, where they aided in teaching various data science methodologies. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Hefei University of Technology, having earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Operational Research from Penn State University in 2015.
