Lya Besson has extensive experience in customer service and fraud prevention, having worked at key positions in Amazon and SYKES for Capital One Bank. Starting as a CORE Services Agent at SYKES in 2015 and advancing through various roles at Amazon, Lya served as a Senior Fraud Investigation Specialist, ES Team Manager Retail, and CSNA Group Manager, overseeing teams of Customer Service Associates and focusing on performance management and operational effectiveness. Currently, Lya is a Senior Program Manager for People Initiatives at Amazon Global Artificial Intelligence (GO-AI). Lya holds two Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from Universidad de Costa Rica and Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
