Mar Alvarez

Mar Alvarez is a seasoned business development professional, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Business Development and Partnerships Global at Amazon since 2024. They also hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cartec, overseeing daily operations and process optimization. Previously, Alvarez worked at the Instituto Nacional de Migración as a PMO Senior Manager, where they developed and implemented various binational programs between Mexico and the United States. With an extensive educational background, including an MBA in International Business from Royal Holloway, University of London, they have also been involved in supporting entrepreneurs through workshops and business strategy initiatives since 2014.
