Mark Alexander Friedrich has extensive experience in economic development and public policy, currently serving in Economic Development Policy at Amazon since August 2025. Prior roles include Senior Tender & Policy Manager at Bolt, where Mark led comprehensive strategies for rental permits and major tenders. As Head of Government Partnerships for EMEA at Bird, Mark managed relationships with public institutions and spearheaded strategic partnerships. Earlier experience includes roles at METRO AG, where Mark coordinated international public policy efforts, and at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, involved in project management and political reporting. Mark holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University and a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from Maastricht University.
