Mark Patel is an accomplished engineer and seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience in industrial automation, mobile computing, robotics, and autonomous aviation. Currently, Mark serves as a Principal Engineer in Energy & Sustainability at Amazon, after previously driving advances in avionics and autonomy software as a Principal Software Engineer for Prime Air. Prior to Amazon, Mark held various roles at Motorola, including Software Engineering Manager, and at UPS as a Software Engineer. Mark began their educational journey at Kettering University, where they earned a BS in Electrical Engineering.
