Matt Callahan is currently the Corporate Counsel for Alexa & Artificial Intelligence at Amazon. They have served as Counsel at NovusGC and were previously an Associate in IP Litigation at Morrison & Foerster LLP. Before their legal career, Matt taught high school math and physics for the San Francisco Unified School District and worked as a middle school math teacher with Teach For America. They also gained experience as a Judicial Extern for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and as an Adjunct Lecturer in Technology Transactions at USC Gould School of Law. Matt is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at USC Viterbi School of Engineering and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law.
