Matt Gordon is currently the Director of Academic Research Initiatives at Amazon, where they unify global academic research to accelerate foundational technology discovery. Previously, they served in various senior roles at Intel Capital, Microsoft, and Intellectual Ventures, contributing significantly to venture capital investments and patent acquisitions. In addition to their corporate experience, Matt co-founded and remains an active board member of the Academy for Precision Learning, a K-12 private school in Seattle focused on inclusion for children on the autism spectrum. They also co-founded the Summit Community Center, dedicated to supporting neurodiverse young adults. Matt holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and dual degrees in Electrical Engineering (BSEE and MSEE) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
