Matt Peterson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate development and advertising at Amazon. As the Director of Corporate Development for New Initiatives since January 2020, Matt oversees the Climate Pledge Fund, a $2 billion venture program aimed at investing in sustainable technologies to help achieve net-zero carbon by 2040. Previously, Matt served as the Director of Advertising for New Initiatives, where responsibilities included defining strategies and leading product development for innovative digital advertising solutions. Earlier career roles included co-founding WarrantyCheck.com and working as an Associate at Summit Partners, coupled with an academic background in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
