Matthew Lin

Matthew Lin is a Jr. Software Development Engineer II at Amazon since September 2023, specializing in Java, TypeScript, React, and AWS. In addition to this role, Matthew serves as a videographer and president of the Cal Poly SLO Taiwanese Culture Organization, overseeing a board of 18 members and successfully growing club membership. Previous experience includes positions as an iOS Software Engineer at PurpleTie, Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Cal Poly Psychology & Child Development Department, and freelance filmmaker for YouTube. Earlier roles involved software engineering internships and full-stack development, as well as creating educational video content that has attracted over 300 subscribers. Matthew holds a BS in Cognitive Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an AA in Computer Science from San Diego Mesa College.
