Matthew MacFarquhar is a software engineer with a solid background in 3D modeling and web development. MacFarquhar's experience includes working at Amazon, where responsibilities involved developing QA, Rendering, and Ingestion components for a 3D asset system, along with designing an asset storage and search system. Matthew previously served as a software engineer intern, implementing a caching system with parallel processing and designing high-level systems using AWS architecture. In addition to a current role as Vice Chair of the KHR_interactivity TSG at The Khronos Group, MacFarquhar has interned at Konviv, creating chatbots and web APIs using dialogflow, mongoDB, and Node.js. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Applied Math from The Johns Hopkins University and a high school diploma from Sacred Heart Schools.
