Matthew Wright

Matthew Wright is an applied scientist at Amazon, focusing on representation learning for proteins and biological data. They previously held postdoctoral positions at Berkeley Lab and the University of California, Berkeley, where they contributed to various research initiatives in artificial intelligence and vehicle networks. Earlier in their career, they interned at HERE, Tesla, and the University of Texas at Austin, developing tools for data analysis and machine learning applications. Matthew earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field, alongside a Bachelor's in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
