Maya Francis

Maya Francis is a Global Content Strategy & Editorial Operations Leader at Amazon, with over 15 years of experience in marketing and writing. They previously served as the Senior Managing Director of Content Strategy and Head of Social Media at Teach For America, where they led substantial increases in engagement and e-mail performance. Maya also held roles at Congreso de Latinos Unidos and HZ, where they developed impactful communication strategies and managed teams in content creation. Their efforts have received recognition, including the Gold Effie Award for a successful social campaign while at MXM, part of Accenture Interactive. Currently, Maya is pursuing a degree at the University of Maryland College Park.
