Merel Hoogvliet

Merel Hoogvliet has extensive experience in both academic and professional settings. Currently serving as a New Accounts Manager at Amazon since January 2025, Merel previously held a leading teaching assistant role in HRM and Entrepreneurship at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where responsibilities included overseeing 70 students and managing a team of teaching assistants. Additional roles include externship as an External Relationship Officer for CEMS Club Lisbon, a Business Development Intern at L'Oréal, and previous positions at Albert Heijn and Stick2Uganda, showcasing a diverse skill set in management, project coordination, and relationship building. Merel was also a member of the Dutch National synchronized swimming team from 2012 to 2016, demonstrating commitment and teamwork. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Management from the Rotterdam School of Management, complemented by international studies at the University of Southern California and Nova School of Business and Economics.
