Michael Crawley

Michael Crawley is a CFD Engineer and Research Scientist with extensive experience in aerodynamics and propulsion integration. From 2017 to 2021, they served as a Staff CFD Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, managing multidisciplinary analyses for aircraft design and leading projects like the propulsion integration for a transonic UAV. Currently, they work as a Research Scientist at Amazon, building on a strong foundation that includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Their prior roles include serving as an Aerospace Research Engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory and as a Graduate Research Fellow at The Ohio State University, where they developed innovative methodologies for aerodynamic control and collaborated on significant research projects.
