Michael Deal

Michael Deal has extensive experience in corporate securities, M&A, and treasury, holding various positions at Amazon since March 1999. Michael also worked as an Associate at Perkins Coie LLP before joining Amazon. Additionally, Michael was an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, teaching "Law and Leadership". Prior to their legal career, Michael was a Law Clerk for Hon. Alice M. Batchelder at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and a Senior Analyst at ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services. Michael holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Carleton College.
