Michael Harvey

Michael Harvey is an experienced leader with a diverse background in military logistics, academia, and operations management. From February 2002 to June 2005, Michael served as Company Commander and Assistant Logistics Operations Officer at the 3rd Corps Support Command, where responsibilities included overseeing a retail ammunition warehouse facility in Iraq and Kuwait. Following this, Michael held the position of Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy from June 2007 to May 2010, focusing on undergraduate courses in Calculus and Mathematical Modeling. Michael managed various roles at Amazon starting in March 2023, including General Manager and Operations Manager. Additionally, from April 2014 to March 2017, Michael was Brigade Executive Officer and Professor of Military Science at US Army Cadet Command, supervising staff and managing a $40M budget. Earlier, Michael commanded and managed logistics for the 1st Cavalry Division, overseeing 1,200 personnel and 500 vehicles. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
