Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson is an experienced media professional with a diverse career spanning various roles in journalism and public relations. Beginning as a Broadcast Journalist at SGR FM (now Heart) from September 2001 to July 2004, Mike advanced to Senior Broadcast Journalist at Real Radio, serving from July 2004 to December 2008. Following this, Mike held multiple positions at Cardiff Council, including Press and Communications Officer from January 2009 to September 2010. Subsequently, Mike worked with the Welsh Conservatives as Deputy Chief of Staff / Chief Media Officer and Senior Media Officer from March 2015 to January 2016. At NSPCC, Mike's tenure from August 2019 to February 2022 included roles as Senior Media Manager (Nations & Regions) and Senior Media Officer. Currently, Mike serves as PR Manager for Corporate Communications - Operations at Amazon, a role commenced in February 2022. Mike's educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University, earned in 2001.
