Mike Van Gorkom

Mike Van Gorkom is currently the Director of Technology for Amazon Kids, where they focus on hiring engineers and applied scientists for new initiatives. Previously, they served as a Software Development Manager and later as a Senior Manager of Software Development at Amazon, leading teams to create applications for various Amazon devices. Mike has also held senior technical management positions at Klir Technologies and Pivotlink, where they directed engineering teams in delivering software solutions. Their educational background includes a BA in Business Information Systems from Western Washington University, an MBA from Seattle Pacific University, and a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Washington.
