Miles Vaughn

Miles Vaughn, CIPP-US, CIPP-E, currently serves as Corporate Counsel at Amazon since September 2025. Prior to this role, Miles was a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Cyber Fraud Enforcement Unit at the Florida Office of the Attorney General from September 2020 to September 2025, where responsibilities included leading investigations into cyber fraud and collaborating with federal and state agencies. Miles’s background includes positions as Attorney at Oster McBride and Cogent Law Group, where expertise encompassed securities analysis for cryptocurrency and compliance with various privacy laws. Early legal experience includes a Global Public Policy Externship at Facebook and internships at the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Federal Communications Commission. Miles holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester, along with certificates in Chinese from Tongji University and Peking University.
