Mingyu Kim

Mingyu Kim is a Principal Engineer at Amazon, specializing in software development with a focus on back-end systems, search, and optimization. Previously, Mingyu held positions as a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they worked on Gmail and Chat infrastructure, and as a Software Engineer Team Lead at Palantir Technologies, contributing to the scalability of the Palantir Metropolis platform. Mingyu began their career with internships at Microsoft, developing Bing Map App, and at Hatena in Japan, where they created a movie recommendation system. Mingyu earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
