Mo Keshtpour

Mo Keshtpour, Ph.D., is an applied machine learning scientist currently working at Amazon in the Gen AI division. Their expertise lies in graph mining, knowledge discovery, large language models, natural language processing, recommender systems, deep learning, and gradient boosting. Previously, Mo served as a scientist at Michael Baker International, where they developed models to assess the impact of climate change on hurricanes, and as a principal machine learning scientist at KatRisk LLC, leading the modeling of climate-induced hazards. They also worked at AIR Worldwide as a research scientist, focusing on natural hazard risk models for the insurance sector. Mo earned their Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Delaware.
