Mohamed Barry, Esq. is currently a Corporate Counsel at Amazon, where they assist clients with traditional labor matters, compliance with workplace laws, and defense in employment-related disputes. Before joining Amazon, they served as a Senior Associate in Labor and Employment at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and began their legal career clerking for the Honorable Michael J. Nelson in the Civil Division of Essex County, NJ. Mohamed also worked as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, handling trials and appellate briefs. They are a member of the 2022 Class for Leadership Newark’s Public Policy Fellows, reflecting their commitment to community building through activism and civic engagement. Mohamed holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy from Seton Hall University.
