Mohamed Moustafa

Mohamed Moustafa is an Applied Science Manager specializing in machine learning, currently leading the geospatial science maps team at Amazon. With over 20 years of focused experience in computer vision and machine learning algorithms, they have held significant positions including Head of Machine Learning at Spree3D, where they managed a team and designed deep learning generative models. Mohamed has a robust research profile, including four U.S. patents and over 50 published papers, and has contributed to academia as a professor at the American University in Cairo, supervising graduate research in deep learning applications. They earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the City University of New York.
