Mohammad Haroon A. is a Chief Architect for the Microsoft Responsible AI team, overseeing the responsible use of advanced models from OpenAI and other open-source LLMs on Azure. Currently a Principal Software Architect at Microsoft, they spend their time focusing on novel AI agents. Previously, they worked as a Principal Engineer and Tech Lead at Amazon, where they led the development and launch of Amazon Virtual Product Placement, as well as tech-led multiple teams across various projects. Mohammad has also held roles in research and development at Crescent Technologies and Medstreaming, where they contributed to medical data processing and integration technologies. They are pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Washington and hold a B.Sc. from Cairo University.
