Nathan Kong

Nathan Kong is an Applied Scientist at Amazon Robotics, specializing in machine learning, motion planning, and control algorithms for safe robotic systems. They earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where they focused on improving legged robot reliability in unpredictable environments. Prior to this, Nathan was an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Minnesota, designing mechatronic devices, and interned at both Medtronic and XPENG Motors, where they developed advanced locomotion controllers.
