Nicolas Deforeit

Nicolas Deforeit is a Principal Acoustics Scientist at Amazon, where they focus on developing predictive modeling and simulation tools to mitigate noise-related risks at the company's facilities globally. Previously, they served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Microsoft from 2013 to 2023, optimizing vibroacoustics for various products, including the Xbox and Hololens. Prior to that, Nicolas held positions at MSC Software, where they conducted vibro-acoustic studies, and served as a Project Manager at Cafat. They began their career as an intern at Airbus, contributing to acoustic engineering projects. Nicolas holds a Master’s Degree in Acoustics from Centrale Méditerranée.
