Nikos Kargas

Nikos Kargas is an Applied Scientist at Amazon AGI, contributing to dialog-focused NLP research projects. They earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where their research involved developing efficient machine learning models using tensor decompositions. Previously, Kargas held positions as a Machine Learning Researcher at IQVIA, focusing on spatio-temporal data analysis, and as a Research Assistant at both the University of Minnesota and the Technical University of Crete, where they developed an SDR Gen2 RFID reader. They continue their studies in Electronic and Computer Engineering, pursuing both a Master's degree and a diploma at the Technical University of Crete.
