Onkar Dabeer

Onkar Dabeer is currently the Senior Applied Science Manager at AWS AI Labs, specializing in multimodal AI and data automation technologies. They previously held positions at Amazon as a Senior Scientist in Robotics AI and at Qualcomm Research as a Tech Lead focused on perception for autonomous vehicles. Onkar was also an Associate Professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research from 2004 to 2013 and worked as a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm Inc. They earned a PhD from the University of California San Diego and a B.Tech + M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
