Parichay Saxena is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and driving innovation in the tech industry. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for Amazon Worldwide Grocery Shopping Services since September 2019, Saxena oversees the development of global online grocery shopping services and Generative AI experiences. Prior to Amazon, Saxena spent over two decades at Microsoft in various leadership roles, including Partner GM and General Manager, where responsibilities included designing secure open-source services, enhancing developer productivity, and transitioning engineering practices to a service-oriented mindset. Saxena's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Software Development at Sony Electronics, where leadership efforts contributed to the launch of the VAIO line of PCs. Parichay Saxena holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
