Pascal Amar is the Principal Sustainable Transportation at Amazon's Worldwide Sustainability division, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to joining Amazon, Pascal spent 10 years at Volvo, where they advanced technologies for emissions reduction and electrification of trucks, eventually leading significant research and industrialization projects. Pascal's expertise has contributed to pioneering sustainable transport concepts, such as Volvo's SuperTruck, in collaboration with the US Department of Energy. They have also served on the Advisory Board for the UW Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics program from 2018 to 2021. Pascal holds an MSc from CPE Lyon.
