Radu Palanca

Radu Palanca is an experienced professional with a background in software development, data engineering, and product management. Currently serving as Director of Retail Pricing at Amazon since 2014, Radu has also held the position of Director of Supply Chain Optimization, focusing on sourcing and procurement. Prior to Amazon, Radu worked at Microsoft for 16 years in various roles, including Director of Software Development, Software Engineering Manager, and Software Engineer, contributing to projects in conversational understanding, enterprise storage, and Windows solutions. Radu began a career in academia as a Research Assistant at Politehnica University of Bucharest, specializing in advanced data structures and algorithms, after obtaining a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
