Raghavendra Uppalli

Raghavendra (Raghu) Uppalli has extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership, currently serving as Director of WW Consumer Identity at Amazon since August 2017 and holding previous roles including Senior Software Development Manager and Software Development Manager in Identity/Authentication at the same company. Raghu also contributes as a FIDO Board Member for Amazon.com while previously serving as VP Engineering at Banihal. Prior experience includes key engineering positions at Riverbed Technology, where Raghu was a founding member of teams developing patented application path discovery technologies, and OPNET Technologies, where Raghu led a team in creating industry-leading network topology inference software. With additional roles as a Network Research Engineer and foundational work in early careers, Raghu has published research in prominent engineering journals. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Networking and Computer Security from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from SJCE College of Engineering.
