Rahul Chandan is a Research Scientist at Amazon Robotics, where they leverage their expertise in systems control, optimization, and game theory to enhance robotic warehouse logistics. They are currently focused on designing high-performance task assignment algorithms that utilize insights from production data and simulation. Rahul completed a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, with thesis work on coordinating autonomous agents like robotic swarms and transportation networks. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Summer Research Student at the University of Cambridge and the National University of Singapore, along with internships at Altera, Intel Corporation, and Safran Electronics Canada Inc.
