Rahul Kumar

Rahul Kumar is currently serving as an Applied Scientist II at Amazon since January 2025. Prior to this role, Rahul worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Krutrim from June 2023 to January 2025, focusing on Multi-Agent Chatbot development and deploying large language models (LLMs) with vLLM and TensorRT for high throughput and low latency. Experience also includes a position as a Machine Learning Engineer at Ola from July 2022 to June 2023, where Rahul built a cab allocation model using Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) and developed a common feature store pipeline. Earlier, at Trell, from July 2020 to July 2022, contributions included creating a real-time ads candidate set generator and a custom database connector package. Rahul began the career with a data science internship that involved diverse projects such as data migration and demographic inference. Academically, Rahul holds a Master’s degree in Robotics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Sindri.
