Raj Maragoud

Raj Maragoud is the Head of Science and Data at Amazon, where they lead a team focused on leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enhance customer experience for Amazon's Devices and Digital products. Raj has extensive expertise in machine learning, data science, forecasting, and project management, honed through roles at esteemed organizations including FedEx Ground, where they developed optimization models and big data analytics projects. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they focused on optimization techniques and artificial intelligence methods. Raj holds multiple master's degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the University of Pittsburgh, respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
