Raz Pines

Raz Pines is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of applied science and algorithm development. Currently serving as an Applied Scientist at Amazon since February 2025, Raz previously held significant roles at Solidus as Algorithms Team Lead and Senior Algorithm Developer from July 2022 to February 2025. Earlier career experience includes positions at Israeli Military Intelligence, where Raz was the Innovation Project Manager, Research Engineer and Team Lead, and System Integration and Test Engineer from October 2016 to July 2022. Additionally, Raz worked as an Embedded Software Developer at Cellolo from September 2015 to September 2016. Raz holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management, earned in February 2023, a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2021), and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2016) from Tel Aviv University.
