Richard Chen

Richard Chen is a Machine Learning Scientist and Data Scientist with a PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago. They have over five years of research experience in econometrics and statistics, having served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rice University and a Computation Aide at Argonne National Laboratory. Currently, Chen works as an Applied Scientist at Amazon, where they build and improve machine learning models for customer risk prediction and design online A/B tests. Previously, they have also held positions at IBM as a Data Scientist and as an Econometric Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
