Richard Newton

Richard Newton is an experienced management professional with a strong background in retail and technology. From January 2012 to August 2015, Richard served as Area Manager at Aldi UK, where leadership in store openings and remodeling projects resulted in a 40% increase in sales. Subsequently, Richard joined Amazon in April 2024, leading pivotal projects such as a global Electronic Shelf Label migration that enhanced price accuracy to 99.5%. In various roles at Amazon, including Senior Program Manager and Program Manager, Richard developed operational processes for Vision AI-based shopping and self-checkout software, significantly increasing customer engagement and transaction success.
