Richard Svoboda

Richard Svoboda is a Principal Economist at Amazon, a role they have held since 2023. Previously, they served as an Economist and Senior Economist at the company, contributing to their economic analysis and strategy. Richard also worked as a Senior Consultant at The Lewin Group from 2017 to 2019. They earned both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh, where they held various roles, including Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant for multiple economics courses. Richard began their career as a Retirement Actuary at Willis Towers Watson from 2008 to 2011.
